Fontbonne University

Fontbonne University is a liberal arts Roman Catholic university in Clayton, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. MindActive partnered with Dovetail, a premiere St. Louis branding agency, to collaborate on a new web site: a fresh, updated site that brings the new brand to life while prioritizing user experience and sales conversion. While Dovetail worked on market research and updating the brand identity, MindActive worked on the technical aspects of the web site's design. We collaboratively organized and imported content, new and old, in approved page design / layout and added plugins such as social media, maps, etc. We created connections and areas of engagement for the other Fontbonne sites and platforms and tested functionality with the Fontbonne and Dovetail teams. The new site, www.fontbonne. edu, went live in March of 2019, and has provided Fontbonne with a platform to display their history, academic opportunities, and student engagement opportunities.

The new Fontbonne.edu launched on March 1st of 2019, and has already generated impressive results. The following are analytics results from March 1, 2019 - December 31, 2019, versus the same period a year ago:

Total site size reduced from 1,500+ pages to under 450
Overall site bounce rate decreased from 59.35% to 6.04%
Average page load time decreased by 7.83%
Total goal completions (request info, schedule a campus visit, or applying online) increased by 38.13%
Conversion rate increased by 72.39%
